If you’re ready to adopt from Sadie’s Safe House, you can fill out their application form here. Chihuahua Rescue Indiana swears by spaying and neutering their fosters before being handed out for adoption. They also employ a phone interview as their second step where, if accepted, you will be scheduled for a home visit. They foster these saved pups in their own homes to have them properly medicated and resocialized in preparation for their adopters.
They rescue and place these dogs in foster homes across the state until they find their forever homes. While in foster homes, these dogs receive the best medical care possible. They are treated as family members and prepared to be great additions to their new families. Remember that the dog you’re about to take under your wing may be feeling extremely vulnerable and wary of others due to their history. So it may take several visits, pets, and treat-giving before they warm up to you. By investing your time in visiting them in their foster homes and befriending them even before they’re permanently yours, you have a higher chance of being approved by the rescue volunteers.
I am Kraig Wharton, a wildlife conservationist and a television personality. I am 30 years old. I was born and raised in the small town of Marion, Alabama. I have always had a love and respect for nature, which led me to pursue a career in wildlife conservation.
I have been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel all over the world, working with some of the most endangered species on the planet. My work has taken me to some of the most remote and dangerous places on earth, including war-torn countries such as Iraq and Afghanistan.
I am passionate about educating people about the importance of conserving our natural resources, and I am committed to doing whatever it takes to protect our planet for future generations.
